Terms of trade

Prices

All prices are in Danish kroner, euros, and US dollars, excluding VAT and taxes. We reserve the right to change prices from day to day without prior consent. Subject to sold-out items.

Payment

Copenhagen Cycles ApS accepts payment via VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, PayPal, and bank transfer. Credit card payments will only be debited from your account when the item is shipped. We reserve the right for price errors and sold-out / discontinued items.

Delivery

Copenhagen Cycles ApS aims to process orders within 2 business days. We ship worldwide, and shipping rates are calculated upon request. Items will be delivered to the delivery address specified during the order. We deliver on all weekdays. Your order will be initiated immediately after it is placed and delivered as soon as possible.

Warranty

We provide a 2-year warranty in accordance with the Sales of Goods Act. Our warranty covers material and/or manufacturing defects. You can have the item repaired, exchanged, refunded, or receive a price reduction, depending on the specific situation. The warranty does not cover faults or damage caused by improper handling of the product. You must report the defect within a "reasonable time" after discovering it. Copenhagen Cycles ApS will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.

The bicycle's warranty is activated the moment the bicycle is delivered. The battery's warranty is activated the first time it is charged. Therefore, charge the battery only when the bicycle is to be used for the first time.

No shipments are accepted COD.

Refund

In the case of a refund, please provide bank details (account number and sort code) so the agreed amount can be transferred. These details can be provided by email without risk since they are not sensitive information and will only be used for the purpose of the refund.

Right of withdrawal

A 14-day full right of withdrawal is granted for items purchased through our website. The period is calculated from the day:

• You receive the order.
• You receive the last item in physical possession when it concerns an agreement for multiple different items ordered in one order but delivered individually or in several installments.
• You receive the last batch or last part in physical possession when it concerns an agreement for the delivery of items consisting of multiple batches/parts.
• The first item in physical possession when it concerns regular delivery of items over a specified period.

You must bear the return costs.

The withdrawal must be notified to us no later than 14 days after the purchase, and the return must be made no later than 14 days after the notification. The notification must be sent by email to hi@copenhagencycles.com. You must clearly indicate that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. Returns should be sent to:

You cannot exercise your right of withdrawal by simply refusing to accept the item without simultaneously giving clear notice thereof.

Items excluded from the right of withdrawal

• Items made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.
• Sealed items that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once the seal is broken after delivery.
• Items that, due to their nature, become inseparably mixed with others upon delivery.
• Items with broken seals.
• Non-financial services that have begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal ceases when the service is fully performed.
• Digital content not supplied on a physical medium, where performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent.
• Newspapers, journals, or magazines, except subscription agreements.
• Agreements concluded at a public auction.
• Items that deteriorate or expire quickly.

Return

You must return your order without undue delay and no later than 14 days after exercising your right of withdrawal. You are responsible for the direct costs associated with the return. When returning, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packaged. Enclose a copy of the order confirmation; processing is faster if you also fill out and enclose our Withdrawal Form.

You bear the risk for the item from the time of its delivery until we have received it back. We do not accept parcels sent COD.

Condition of the item upon return

You are only liable for any deterioration in the item's value that is due to handling other than what is necessary to establish the item's nature, characteristics, and the way it works. You can try the item as you would in a physical store.

If the item has been used beyond what is described above, it is considered used — you'll receive a partial or no refund depending on the item's commercial value at the time of receipt. To receive a full refund, try the item without actually using it.

Refund

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you will receive the amount you have paid. In the event of depreciation for which you are liable, this amount will be deducted from the purchase price.

All payments received from you, including delivery costs (except additional costs due to your choice of a different delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), will be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date we receive notice of your decision to withdraw. The refund uses the same payment method as the original transaction, unless you have explicitly agreed otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we have received the item back unless you have provided documentation that you have returned it.

To enter into an agreement with us and make purchases on our website, we need: Name, Address, Phone number, Email address, Information about what you have purchased.

We process your personal data in order to deliver the item to you and handle inquiries regarding your purchase. Processing is done in accordance with the rules in our privacy policy for Copenhagen Cycles ApS.
